“Hey, May, look at this cool game I found. I found it floating in the river,” June said.
“Ok, let’s play the game,” I said. On the game you have to roll the dice and then pick a card and it says something. When June did it, the card said ’Take a bite.’ Then before I could get a turn June’s mom yelled up the stairs that my mother was there to take me home.
The next day June wasn’t at school. I got a call from her after school. She said, ‘’Come over tomorrow and have a sleep over.’’ When I came over, she was asleep. I got in bed with her and fell asleep. When I woke up she was gone. I went to the living room and she said in a freaked out way, “I Have FANGS! I think I’m a vampire.”
“Don’t be silly, June,” I said.
“You smell good. Is that normal? I think it’s the game.” June said.
I looked at the box on the outside in big bold letters it read, ‘It’s true; you are a VAMPIRE!’
I opened the box and on the inside was a note that said, “Ha, ha, it’s a joke.” On the back of the note it was signed Amber Brown.
June shouted, “That’s my neighbor! She played a joke on us. But why do you smell so good to me?”
“I have perfume on. You don’t have super senses.” I said.
“I’m not a vampire!” June said “Yay! I’m human!”
