The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Robert Atkins Goodner of Birmingham and the late Ida Lambert Goodner of Alabaster and of Charlene Smith DeShazer and the late Larkin Porter DeShazer of Pell City.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Dan and Janelle Holloway of Anniston and of John Benjamin Leverton and the late Mary Nelle Leverton of Pell City.
Miss DeShazer is a 2011 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama and attends the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry.
Mr. Leverton is a 2010 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama and plans to graduate in May from the University of Alabama School of Law.
The wedding is planned for June 22, 2013, at St. Simon Peter Episcopal Church in Pell City.
