As a business owner in the Anniston area, I feel it is extremely important to elect solid people of good character in all levels of government now more than ever before. I have known Millie Harris and her family for 30 years, and I cannot think of a more sound individual to work with the new City Council and mayor in revitalizing Anniston.

She has always been an honest and forthright person in her dealings with others. She is the type of individual who will solicit input, listen to all sides and research the issues before making the best and ethical decision. I am certain under her leadership that residents can rest assured that there will be no hidden agendas or favoritism, but only what is right for Anniston.

Millie has a history of outstanding achievement from her own education, to a career as a nationally acclaimed teacher. Her willingness to give back to this community with her strong drive and outstanding organizational skills will be a blessing to all Annistonians.
