Anniston residents made a wonderful step forward with our recent elections, but the job is not complete. On Tuesday, we can again make a statement to reclaim our great city.

I did not know Millie in the year 2001 when she won Department of Defense Schools Educator of the Year award and was honored at the White House, but I do remember how proud I was that someone from Anniston had won such a prestigious award.

Millie has the education, talent and dedication needed to be a fine ambassador for our city. I feel that she is relentless and successful in all that she does. I am proud to support her for the Ward 4 seat on the City Council. Please join me in supporting Millie Harris on Tuesday.
