Steve Baswell is not a politician in the usual sense. He does not seek the office of mayor for any prestige or perks that might be associated with the office. He chose to run for mayor simply because his heart is in Ohatchee. Every decision is made for the good of the town, not personal recognition. His only motivation is preserving what is great about this wonderful small town while also leading it into the future.
Many of his accomplishments are not visible. Because of his stewardship, Ohatchee is now in a position to move forward.
Ohatchee can be proud of its native son. He has carried out his duties as mayor, as well as this campaign, with quiet honesty and integrity. I encourage you to contact him about anything you may have heard during this election season. He welcomes your interest.
