I have served on Knox Concert Series boards with Millie Harris for several years. During this time, I have learned that when volunteer opportunities are available, if Millie is asked to help and she accepts the responsibility, the board can be assured that the job will be done brilliantly.

Millie’s commitment to the arts has led her to chair the Educational Outreach Committee for Knox. Millie offers programs to local high school students to educate them about symphonies and classical ballet. These students are offered an opportunity to attend a concert and meet with the conductor and musicians. It is a delight to see these well-behaved and dressed up-students enjoying a classical concert. Many have described these experiences as “life-changing” in post-concert essays.

Millie Harris has accepted the challenge of representing Ward 4 on the City Council, and I guarantee that she will fulfill her campaign promises and give 100 percent to the citizens she has pledged to represent. Please support her candidacy by voting on Tuesday.
