I encourage Jacksonville residents to vote for Jerry Parris for City Council. He and his family are long-term residents of the city, county and state. He is a reliable, honest and hard-working individual who is interested in developing the community.

I have no particular issue with George Areno except I feel he is not a supporter of public education. While public education has its problems in Jacksonville, the school district and Jacksonville State University are the keys to community enhancement in the region. Jerry will work tirelessly to improve the community in all respects.
