So, since we have an election on Nov. 6, the major thing on my heart is where the candidates stand on abortion. Used to be that we knew “that thing” inside that young lady was a baby. For good reason and common sense, babies were safe until Jan. 22, 1973. On that ignominious day, the Supreme Court legalized a holocaust. Three-thousand “things” a day for 39 years have met their fate, totaling a whopping 50 million potential moms and voters. So I am voting this election the same way I have voted in every election since my first one in 1970. The candidate and the party who is closest to abortion is furthest from my vote.
Race is not a factor. Babies and children are colorless to me. The cries of the “things” agitate my conscience, and conscience has evolved to become a good friend of mine. Wonder who the babies would vote for?
