First off all, schools represent the city or county they are located in; therefore, they give a direct picture of the community they represent, sort of like an ambassador for the United States to a foreign country. If we keep letting these groups determine the rights of others, we may as well throw away the Constitution that guarantees us the right to freedom of religion, and the state has no right to change that.
Also, what happened to the Christian organizations that should be putting together a petition to keep prayer in school activities? After all, Christmas decorations are on a decline and caroling is out. What’s next, our right to breathe or to walk down the street without showing a number? I hope we can find a way to instill values and morals in our young people — the ones everyone says are the future of this nation. Or should we just sell to the highest bidder now?
