A few days before the election, signs appeared to “Stop Roberson-Kilgore Zoning Attempts!” These signs were removed, but more appeared on election day. Don’t people read or listen to the news? Did they not attend the forum? Actions of misinformation and ridicule without proof taken by others toward my brother are obvious acts of desperation.
Nevertheless, Joey will be in the runoff for mayor, thanks to the caring voters of Ohatchee.
Clean races are not expected anymore on any government level, but at least try to stick to the facts. My brother Joey prevoiusly was mayor of Ohatchee for 24 years. He chose to run again this year because residents sought him out due to dissatisfaction with the current city government.
I am proud of Joey, his accomplishments, his hard work, work ethic and the humility he has acquired since his past illnesses, which thankfully he has overcome. He has come far as a person, professional and friend to his community. He wants to serve all residents of Ohatchee.
I ask Ohatchee residents to get out and vote, carry a friend or relative to the polls and vote for Joseph Roberson. You won’t be sorry.
