My, how “progressive liberals” toy with language, taking semantic antics to a new level. Shall we count the ways in which this nation is progressing?
The half of U.S. citizens who pay almost no income tax and are the recipients of a wagon-load of government-mandated entitlements now have the political power to tax the half who do pay income taxes. The cost of welfare exceeds that of almost all federal agencies ($700 billion-plus).
The struggling middle class, which pays about two-thirds of all income taxes, are being robbed of their assets by politicians whose only concern is re-election.
Fatal debt has destroyed the job market.
Any belief system, any facts, certain gestures or expressions that contradict or discredit socialism/communism have been declared off-limits.
