Their grandchildren include Bill and Wendy Minyard Uemura of Huntsville; Greg Minyard of Fort Myers, Fla., Robert and Lori Herring Downing of Los Gatos, Calif.; Kristen Herring of Birmingham; Brandon and Rachel Herring McCracken of Anniston; Scott and Keita Faulk Harris; Jonathan and Dacia Faulk Strickland and Britni Faulk, all of Oxford; Mandi Faulk of Tuscaloosa; Ryan and Eric Minyard, both of Pell City.
Their great-grandchildren include Nickie, Billy and Jackson Uemura, all of Huntsville; Chad Sparks and Brody McCracken, both of Anniston; Sophia Emody of Birmingham; Taylor and Madison Harris, Halee, Gavin, Trenton Watts and Jaden Strickland, all of Oxford and Colton and Leon Minyard, both of Pell City.
They were married Sept. 2, 1942, in Lucedale, Miss., by the Rev. Jenkins.
