Perry 50th anniversary

Retired Colonel and Mrs. Myles and Sulane Perry of Weaver celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 29, 2012, with a cruise to the Bahamas and a weeklong stay at the Lucaya Resort.

The couple enjoyed their cruise, a dolphin excursion and the turquoise waters of the Bahamas.

Their children and grandchildren include Mylane, Jay and Morgan Wigley, Parham, Katharina, Ariella, Alessia, Adrianna and Amaleah Perry, Roland and Patricia Perry, Simon Richardson, Shannon Flynn and Katie and Gene Altman.

The couple was married July 29, 1962, in Monroe, Ga., at First Christian Church of Monroe.
