The 2012 Anniston Barracudas swim held its Invitational Swim Meet in May. The Barracudas traveled to Birmingham, Carrollton and Opelika for swim meets in the summer. The team was host to the ARPA district meet at the new Anniston Aquatic and Fitness Center at McClellan. The Anniston Barracudas had 15 swimmers qualify for the ARPA State Meet in Opelika. The qualifying swimmers included Katelyn Barnett, Dawson Camp, Huy Cao-Nifong, Justin Cummings, Will Knapp, Avery Leece, Jacob Murray, Trenton Ramey, Anthony Roberts, Reed Robinson, Wesley Robinson, Julianne Smith, Sylo Staton, Tristan Vaught and Art Diez.
