Anniston Star - Anniston High School mural painted

Pictured is Billie Hackney, who, with the help of Carlton Ward, JSU Drama Department’s set designer, built a floor-to-ceiling painting of the old Anniston High School doors which were located on the Leighton Avenue side of the school. This painting is the central decoration at the AHS reunions which are held at Anniston City Meeting Center and a source of memories among its graduates.
