Anniston Star - Royal didn’t deserve to die

Re “Woman shot dead at apartment complex” (News article, April 5):

I am still deeply saddened by the death of DeQuirea Royal. She did not deserve to die the way she did. She was a good person with a good heart. We graduated together and we were in JROTC together. She was my friend, and I will never ever forget her smiling face.
