Altrusa sponsored 25 children from the Boys & Girls Club of East Central Alabama to attend the 8th Annual Katy Williamson Memorial Hook & Cook in June. Each year, the event provides 80 children an opportunity to enjoy a fun day on Katy’s farm. It is a day of fun, fishing and food. The event is hosted annually as a fundraiser for the Mary Katherine “Katy” Williamson Scholarship Fund with the Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama.
