Talk with him about his vision for Hobson City and you will see that he is passionate about his hometown. He is determined to see his city offer safe streets, repair and replace the old infrastructure (water and sewer lines) and clean up the eyesores of dilapidated properties by use of a nuisance-abatement policy. He is committed to reestablishing a police department by working with Anniston, Oxford and Calhoun County to team up on the hazard of crime. He has studied these areas of weakness and has viable remedies and is ready to use his leadership abilities to make a positive change.
The foundation of his decisions will be supported by his intense investigation of the facts, common sense and fairness. He has worked hard to obtain his advanced certificate of training in the operation of municipal government, provided by the Alabama League of Municipalities. The residents of Hobson City are fortunate to have a municipal official who is working for the betterment of the Hobson City community. When you see the sign, remember to vote for Willie J. Elston.
