Since moving to Anniston in the 1970s, John Norton has worked diligently to further the progress of the greater Anniston area. Serving on various boards and being a member of key business organizations, Norton has kept in touch with the people and the city’s needs.

Norton possesses the knowledge, skills and experience to move Anniston forward. Norton, having helped thousands of Anniston constituents from all walks of life, loves this city and wants it to be unified. These attributes paired with the various offices held, along with his economic revitalization plan, will generate revenue needed to finance change. Norton is compassionate about the city’s growth and progress for the future.

Charisma should not be the most important factor in selecting a mayor. Economic development, coupled with unity, will generate the revenue to complete projects. Economic development will improve the quality of life for Annistonians and thus a better place in which to live.
