The state tourism folks have declared Aug. 17-26 to be Alabama Restaurant Week. Restaurants across the state are offering special fixed-price meals — including two here in Calhoun County:
Classic on Noble is offering a discount on its expansive Sunday brunch (only $20 per person plus tax and gratuity). Several lunch items will be $10 (shrimp and grits, sesame tuna, dill chicken salad and Noble fry).
