The Anniston Noon Rotary Club recently awarded $17,500 to local charities from funds raised through its ‘Rock around the Park’ event held in April at Norwood Hodges Community Center. Recipients of the funds included 2nd Chance; All Saints Center of Concern; Interfaith Ministries; American Red Cross of Calhoun and Cleburne Counties; Anniston Soup Bowl; East Central Alabama United Cerebral Palsy and the YMCA of Calhoun County.
