Hammett/Madrigal engagement

Stan and Susan Hammett of Anniston announce the engagement of their daughter, Courtney Brooke Hammett, to John Paul Madrigal, son of Jesse and Sandy Madrigal of Anniston.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mary Dyer of Anniston and the late Howard Bush and Ralph and Nancy Hammett of Jacksonville.

Miss Hammett is a graduate of Jacksonville State University. She is employed by Calhoun County Board of Education.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Audrey Hosey of Anniston and the late Dewey Hosey.

Mr. Madrigal is a graduate of Jacksonville State University. He is employed by Jefferson County Board of Education.

The wedding will be 3 p.m. Sept. 22, 2012, at Jacksonville State University Alumni House.
