Anniston has been in a downhill spiral since before the closure of Fort McClellan. The population has declined, businesses have closed, revenue has suffered, crime has increased and morale has plunged. Anniston now has a chance to rebound if the right leaders are elected to move Anniston forward.

I know Vaughn Stewart is the right person to be mayor of Anniston. Years of research on revitalized towns and enterprises combined with his degree in public administration have prepared Vaughn to take on Anniston’s diverse challenges at this critical point in time.

Having been a municipal judge for 16 years and having served in leadership positions, beginning at Anniston High School through college and numerous boards in Anniston, Vaughn has demonstrated the ability to lead others fairly and diligently. He is also a very caring person who puts his heart and soul into whatever he does.
