As senseless and terrible as the shooting at the theater in Aurora, Colo., is, the only lesson learned from it will be that the anti-Second Amendment crowd will go into their usual predictable calls for the disarming of the 168 million Americans who legally own guns and who have shot no one.

Americans have owned guns since before America was organized into 13 British colonies and finally into a nation. Mass murders like the one in Colorado were unheard of until modern times. This alone should be your first clue that guns by themselves do not kill people.

Instead of always blaming an inanimate object for such heinous criminal acts, let’s start examining why people today have no moral fiber or moral sense of direction or judgment. As much as some may contend there is no God and might hate any and all morality, at least when America had a fear of God we had a moral conscience, and that fear of God made people fear the consequences of such an act as the one in Colorado.

All we have today is liberal double-speak from the godless, liberal, atheist, politically correct crowd. So enjoy the rewards you are reaping for filling this void with these lunatics and their half-baked ideas. Because you kicked God out of our schools and government, America is now reaping what it started sowing decades ago.
