Jennifer Parsons and Joseph Cotton were married July 4 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego, Calif. The honorable G. Brian Paxton performed the ceremony. Music was provided by the Sensational String Sisters.

Parents of the bride are Wendy Parsons and Ted Parsons of Anchorage, Alaska.

Parents of the groom are Linda and Danny Cotton of Lincoln.

Grandparents of the bride are Betty Paxton of Long Beach, Wash., the late Gene Paxton and the late Phyllis and Ted Parsons, formerly of Mercer Island, Wash.

Grandparents of the groom are the late Odell Cotton of Sycamore; the late Betty Bettinger, formerly of Talladega; Herbert Jones of Lincoln and the late Yvonne Jones.

Bridesmaids were Meghan Carr, Ruby Booth and Erin Double.

The maid of honor was Christine Bertz.

Groomsmen were Jonathan Thomas, D. Nicholas Casiday and Michael Lennek.

The best man was Michael Rowe.

The couple resides in San Diego, Calif.
