The Alabama Department of Revenue’s free “New Business” workshop is to be 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Oxford High School media center, Hale Street, next to the Oxford High School baseball field. The free workshop is to cover a variety of state tax information topics, including employer withholding taxes, state and local sales taxes, property taxes, business licensing requirements, and changes in Alabama’s child labor law.
