Knowing Vaughn Stewart for 38 years, I feel I am qualified to speak of his intelligence, sincerity and loyalty to his friends and, above all, his driving desire to get “The Model City” back on track.

I was proud to be a part of the team from Anniston that went to Denver to acquire the term “Model City.”

Those were happy days. Anniston progressed and our City Council was not the joke of Calhoun County, with lawsuits galore, fighting, name-calling and much more that revolts us who live here.

I see in Vaughn Stewart the flame to lead Anniston and take control of our weighty issues with his good judgment and knowledge of our city, to which he is a native son.

Save our city. Vote Stewart.
