Majority has spoken

In a recent Supreme Court ruling, the court reaffirmed law enforcement’s right to check suspected illegal immigrants’ papers. To some, this was a reaffirmation of state-sponsored bigotry. To others, it was just plain common sense.

In Justice Antonin Scalia’s response to the other provisions that were shot down by the court, he wrote that citizens had a right to protect themselves from illegal immigrants that were crossing their land and threatening their lives and livelihood. So, does Scalia and the other members of the court deserve the bigot label?

There will always be more than one opinion in most matters, but when the majority has spoken, that leaves only one option to the lefties with no common sense. Call them bigots or other names to insult them.

In the struggle for common sense to prevail, I suppose we will endure the insults in order to protect our culture and way of life.
