Americans concerned about the rise of Hispanic immigrants might want to rethink their positions.

Hispanics no longer are America’s fastest-growing immigrant population. It’s Asians, the Pew Research Center says, and they’re much sought-after by employers because they tend to be highly educated and skilled.

In 2010, about 430,000 Asians came to the United States, 5 percent more than the number of Hispanics.

The cultural diversification of America is rolling on. How we deal with it says much about who we are and what we value.
