Something is rotten in America. The National Detention Authorization Act allows your government to place you in detention with no rights to a trial or right to see an attorney. However, there is something out there worse than that. The “secret kill list” is a covert assassination program that allows a small group of top U.S. officials to monitor, select and mark for death those it alone deems a threat to national security.

I don’t claim to be an expert on constitutional law, but this just doesn’t sound right. We as Americans have a big problem here because both major parties have approved these activities, and it’s all being done in secret.

What happened to the transparency promised by President Obama? This sounds rotten to me, and what do you do with something that is rotten? You throw it out, but in the case of politics, you don’t re-elect them.
