Alabama has to fight to keep what it has every year; we also have drought problems every year. This fracking procedure hasn’t been around long enough to know what the long-term consequences are. Alabama’s ground-water system in the forest is one of the cleanest anywhere. This is due to the undisturbed areas of the forest that we have preserved thus far.
If fracking is allowed and destroys what we have, wells and artisan springs could go dry. Where will the oil companies get their water for the drilling? From us? We have none to spare. If you enjoy hunting, fishing, having livestock and farming, please help to stop this destruction of the most important resource we have. Without water there is no life; everything depends on it.
