It’s amazing that there are people who feel they must tell smokers the habit is bad for them. Nobody knows this better than the smoker.

Smokers don’t wish to impose on others, but apparently there are a few non-smokers who wish to impose on us. They demand more taxes and smoke-free everything when the truth is that we all have a few bad habits, don’t we?

One of the largest polluters on the planet is cattle, obesity is a plague, text-senders are killing folks, and sodas and hamburgers will soon be taboo. My dentist died a couple of years ago after running a marathon, and a friend’s 97-year-old father who had smoked cigars for most of his life was told by his doctor to give ’em up. I can buy my tobacco when I buy my Lotto tickets. Who will we choose to tax more next?
