Smokers don’t wish to impose on others, but apparently there are a few non-smokers who wish to impose on us. They demand more taxes and smoke-free everything when the truth is that we all have a few bad habits, don’t we?
One of the largest polluters on the planet is cattle, obesity is a plague, text-senders are killing folks, and sodas and hamburgers will soon be taboo. My dentist died a couple of years ago after running a marathon, and a friend’s 97-year-old father who had smoked cigars for most of his life was told by his doctor to give ’em up. I can buy my tobacco when I buy my Lotto tickets. Who will we choose to tax more next?
