It’s not just for the ones who have lost their lives, but also it’s for those who are dedicated to protect us now, for those who patrol our streets, keeping a watchful eye out for us so we may feel secure and sleep well at night.
It takes a special kind of person to accept a position as an officer of the law. He is brave and confident to begin with, but he also has to care about others. I commend them all. We ought to shake their hands every time we have the opportunity.
