I recently purchased a new vehicle locally and had questions regarding purchasing the tag. I planned to use the office in Alexandria, but the phone number was not listed in the new phone book or 411. I attempted to call the Calhoun County Tag and Licensing Department on April 27 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m., and no one answered the phone.
I called the probate office to make sure that it was not a holiday, and that is when I reached Ms. Kelley. She took the time to get me the number in Alexandria, where my questions were answered promptly. I will be doing my business at Alexandria, without a doubt.
Ms. Kelley did not have to help to get this phone number. I want to thank her for going above and beyond what is required to do her job. Her supervisor, Shirley Miller, should be appreciative of how her staff serves the residents of Calhoun County.
