Would it be wrong to consider that not the most awful development for Anniston?
This most-recent delay will allow the completed road to open under a possible new era at City Hall. It will allow the incoming — and likely remade — City Council to play a positive role in how Anniston takes advantage of the road’s immense value.
We’re disappointed in the delay, yes. But we’re also looking for a bright side, as well.
