When the NRA staged its annual meeting recently, its leaders warned that President Obama would use his second term “to launch a massive anti-gun slaughter.”
The NRA is trying to prove its relevance by “pushing increasingly extreme laws to extend the reach of guns into American life,” according to The Week.
According to The Week, “the NRA may face its greatest battle from within.” According to the magazine, “unexpected hostility from within” is slowly tearing the group apart.
Obviously, relevance of the NRA will be in jeopardy so long as undisciplined gun slinging continues.
