Community Actors’ Studio Theater closes out this season with a production of Tennessee Williams’ Pulitzer Prize-winning drama “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.” Set in the Mississippi Delta, the play is about a Southern family in crisis: Patriarch Big Daddy Pollitt, “the Delta’s biggest cotton-planter” is unaware that he is dying of cancer, and his children and their families are battling for the inheritance, as well as ghosts from the past.
The play runs Thursday, April 26-May 6 at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for students and children and Thursdays are “pay what you want” night. For more information, call 256-820-2278 or visit
