• Regional Medical Center’s team LIFE Zumbathon is to be 10 a.m.-noon May 5 at Cornerstone Church, 2885 Choccolocco Road. • Relay for Life of Calhoun County/American Cancer Society luminaria ceremony is to be at sunset May 11 at the McClellan Youth Sports complex-soccer fields. The event is to honor, remember and celebrate the lives that have been touched by cancer. A luminaria donation may be made at any AOD Federal Credit Union branch by May 8 or by calling 256-403-6818.
• If you are a cancer survivor, you are invited to take part in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life event scheduled for 5 p.m. May 11 at the soccer fields at McClellan. You are invited to be a guest of honor at the “survivors reception” and lead the opening lap of this year's Relay for Life of Calhoun County.
