Gadsden’s Back Forty Beer Company will host The Front Porch Festival on Saturday, with a spotlight on Alabama food and drink. Alabama chefs David Bancroft, Graham Hage, Leonardo Maurelli and Rob McDaniel will offer up a taste of slow, sustainable, locally sourced cuisine. Back Forty Beer will offer a tasting of its fresh brews in its brand-new taproom. (The taproom opened in February, and is open for business 5-7 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 3-8 p.m. Saturday. There are also tours of the brewery on Saturday.)

Front Porch Festival starts at 1 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Back Forty Beer Company is at 200 N. Sixth St., Gadsden. For more info, www.backfortybeer.com, or the Front Porch Revival page on Facebook.
