The Donoho School recently announced that two seniors, Vinay Giri and Tate Thomas, have advanced as finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) program. In September, Vinay and Tate were notified that they were one of 16,000 national semi-finalists. They will be notified in March if they are chosen to receive one of the approximately 8,400 National Merit Scholarship award. These awards range from $2,500 lump sum scholarship, to corporate-sponsored and college-sponsored scholarships.
