It all started one Friday night [Halloween] when four friends were about to go camping. There was Trey, Daishon, Haleigh, and Riley. They all had herd stories of what happened to people who camped in those woods. They say that a strange creature lives there. The also say that it will kill the campers. Daishon was the only one though that believed in the stories. His friends talked him into going with them and proving to him that the stories weren’t real.

So they loaded up Trey’s truck and headed off to Shadowy forest [the woods they were going to camp in. ] Daishon was shaking with fear when they arrived.

Daishon said, “If you guys go out there the shadow will kill all of you!” but nobody listened.

Riley said, “Oh, come on. I promise there is no such thing as this so called shadow.”

It was pretty late and they still had to hike out a little ways. They came across a cave along the way. Daishon said that that’s probably where the shadow lived during the day.

“you’re crazy!” said Haleigh.

Trey said’ “how about we camp right here. It would show him even more the stories aren’t real.”

They got a good fire going, then after about two hours of cooking out and having fun, they all climbed into there tents. Almost immediately after that, a wind came from the cave. And not just a breeze, but a gust. Then a howling screech came from the cave. Then… a shadow appeared out side of the tents. It was at least 13 ft. tall with huge teeth and claws. It hovered there for a few seconds then it disappeared. And so did the fire. Nobody could see it but they sure could here it. They all were frozen stiff. Then all the tents started shaking like there was a hurricane, tornado and earthquake all at the same time. Then Daishon’s tent was ripped open and then…
