The unfortunate loss of Steve Jobs last week was felt all over the world. Thousands of fans visited Apple stores to pay their respects.

Jobs was an innovator, a man who looked beyond the normal when creating his devices.

His time at Apple, the company he helped co-found, was filled with ups and downs.

Fortunately, things were mostly positive when Jobs returned to Apple years after he had been fired.

His vision over the past decade has been unparalleled.

The creation of the iPod not only created the digital music era, it was also a revolution in the music industry.

The iPhone is single-handedly the reason smartphones are so popular these days. The all-in-one device allows you to make phone calls, check your email and more.

The iPad is probably the product Jobs was most proud of. It’s a computer small enough to carry around, but with the power to do almost everything the big boys can do … and sometimes better.

No company makes quality, durable electronics like Apple. Steve Jobs was a big part of that equation.

You could feel his vision just by booting an iMac, talking on an iPhone or casually web-surfing on an iPad.

Apple has planned for Jobs’ death for some time now. Some analysts speculate the company had four years of plans ready.

Tim Cook, Jobs’ successor, has big shoes to fill. I have faith that he will take the reigns without problem.

He’ll probably never live up to the legacy of Steve Jobs, but that’s to be expected.

Fear not, the Apple you know and love, or hate, isn’t going anywhere.

The world has lost one of its best inventors. It’s now time for someone else to come along with a creative mind to make the devices and gadgets better than ever.

But the legend will never die. Jobs’ legacy will live on through the next generation of Apple products.

Thank you, Steve.
