Members of American Legion Post 312 recently provided school supplies to all Anniston City Schools as part of its “Giving Back to the Community” program. Post 312, under the command of Joseph Baker, strives to uphold the principles in the American Legion Preamble to the constitution: “To Consecrate and sanctify our comradeship by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.” Post members included, back row, Comrades John Zeigler, Travis Bradford, James (J.D.) Reeves, John Wilson, Andrew Coleman; front row, Eddie Johnson and Joe Fain.
