Mrs. Tommie Hall, founder of the non-profit ‘Operation: Quilts with Hope, Faith and Love,’ works with volunteers to make quilts that are donated to local children in need, residents of nursing homes and other people in need, during the holiday season. Her organization is in need of sewing machines and supplies to complete its mission.

The organization also plans to offer a free Thanksgiving Day dinner for senior citizens Nov. 24. If you would like to donate sewing supplies please call 256-403-1520 for more information on making donations or the dinner.
