Anniston police responded to a report of a robbery at a gas station on the 1700 block of Quintard Avenue at 10:02 p.m Tuesday, according to a report.

Store personnel observed a male come in the store and take five white T-shirts, according to the report. The suspect then ran outside and got in a vehicle. When a clerk went outside to try to stop him, the suspect used the vehicle to run into the clerk, but did not injure her.

“Using that type of force to try to get away from something would cause it to be robbery,” Lt. Fred Forsythe said.

Investigators are currently working on the case and are confident they can get a suspect using store video.
