The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Adrin Ivey of Piedmont and the late Elderene Ivey, and Myrtle Young of Hokes Bluff and the late Carlis Young.
Miss Young is a 2006 graduate of Piedmont High School and a 2010 graduate of Jacksonville State University. She is employed by Kronospan, LLC.
The prospective groom is the grandson of L.T. Morgan of Piedmont and the late Geanett Morgan and the late Hoyt and Dorothy Morrison, formerly of Piedmont.
Mr. Morrison is a 2001 graduate of Piedmont High School and a 2010 graduate of Gadsden State Community College. He is employed by Federal Mogul Corporation.
The wedding will be 6 p.m. Aug. 6, 2011, at First United Methodist Church of Piedmont.
