Congrats to ... Chance Coger
Chance Coger was an honors graduate and FFA president of White Plains High School. He was awarded the Achievement Scholarship from Auburn University, the Farmers Federation Women’s Leadership Committee Scholarship, and received the Central District Star Farmer award and the Dekalb Agricultural Accomplishment award. He is the son of Mark and Kay Coger of Iron City. He is active in Iron City Baptist Church’s youth group and media tech team, and has participated in several mission projects including raising money to purchase chickens for villagers in Swaziland, South Africa.
He served as a volunteer with the U.S. Forest Service at the Shoal Creek Ranger Station and plans to attend Auburn University in the fall and major in forestry and wildlife management.
