The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Charles and Mae Sparks, formerly of Jacksonville, and Marion and Mary Handley of White Plains, and the late Willie Coleman.
Miss Coleman is a graduate of White Plains High School. She is employed by Events Operation Group.
The prospect groom is the grandson of the late Kelly and Fannie Shropshire, formerly of Anniston, and the late Hoyt Bragg and Vera Williams, formerly of Piedmont.
Mr. Bragg is a graduate of Oxford High School. He is employed by Tim Edwards Construction.
The wedding will be 5 p.m. May 28, 2011, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Oxford.
