TALLADEGA — After the green-white-checkered do-over, Kyle Busch did something he’d never done before: win at Talladega Superspeedway in a Nationwide Series car.

But with the way Busch drives in the Nationwide Series, that feat was more like something he does every other week.

Saturday’s win in the Aaron’s 312 was Busch’s fourth win in seven races.

• Earlier in the day, Hendrick Motorsports did something that had only been done twice before in the sport: They swept the first four spots in qualifying.

Jeff Gordon is on the pole for Sunday’s Aaron’s 499, with Jimmie Johnson second, Mark Martin third and Dale Earnhardt Jr. fourth.

It was Gordon’s 70th career pole, which now gives him sole possession of third place all-time in the sport.

• In the rained-out ARCA race that was pushed back to an early 8 a.m. start, Ty Dillon surged past Frank Kimmel n the trioval to win the 3 Amigos 250 from the pole.

Dillon is the grandson of NASCAR team owner Richard Childress.

Dillon used a slingshot move to win by 0.038 seconds. It was Dillon’s third win in five ARCA starts.
